Founded the FX Pure initiative, forming a consortium with top global FX trading banks to build a new and unique trading platform now delivered and successfully trading as ParFX.

Campbell holds a BA(Hons) in Economics from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.

He wrote his thesis on the Economic Theory of Perfect Markets.

Lauren has held various senior roles within the institutional FX industry. She spent the first decade of her career at Morgan Stanley, working in both London and New York City. The majority of her time at the bank was spent in the FX prime brokerage unit, where she looked after relationships, managed onboarding/setups for new clients, and helped with product and sales. She also has experience in FX sales trading covering asset managers as a Vice President.

Most recently, Lauren was Senior Relationship Manager at Equiti Capital (formerly known as Divisa Capital), where she set up and managed FX prime broker and institutional relationships, managed liquidity and facilitated overall business development.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, from the University of Miami.

Jan Strømme has extensive experience in e-FX Sales / Business Development, liquidity provision and trading. Serving at major FX exchanges (EBS/ICAP, ThomsonReuters/FXall), GSA Capital / XTX Markets and DNB (Den Norske Bank), at the very cutting edge of High-Frequency Trading, Liquidity and Technology for banks and hedge funds.

Strømme was Global Head of eFX Development at XTX Markets, creating an industry-leading solution providing liquidity direct to disclosed counterparties, enhancing a buy-side firm’s ability to trade, hedge and interact with the leading non-bank FX liquidity provider. Strømme established Alphaplate in 2017, a proprietary crypto trading company.

Torbjørn is one of the leading specialists on Bitcoin and blockchain in Norway. He has consulted agencies such as the Office of the Prime Minister, the Norwegian central bank and the Norwegian Ministry of Finance, in addition to big private sector participants from the financial industry.

He is the CEO of Arcane Crypto and a former senior economist from the economic consultancy firm Menon Economics.

Torbjørn holds a professional master’s degree in Economics from the University of Oslo and SOAS (University of London). He wrote his master’s thesis on Bitcoin in 2013/2014.

Eva has had a diverse career across law, trading, business development and strategy.

She is currently COO of Arcane Crypto. Previously she worked with an AI and machine learning start-up, Mei, as the interim COO.

During her 8+ years in finance, Eva worked for Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. At MS, she was Head of EMEA Flow Trading for Securities Lending after having helped to build out FX Prime Brokerage, focusing on documentation/compliance for FX and Bullion.

Eva qualified as a solicitor at Rosenblatt Solicitors. She holds a Law LLB (Hons) Degree from Brunel University and completed the LPC at BPP Law School with Distinction.

Ian is an experienced financial market professional with a career spanning 38 years across Trading, Sales and Financial Technology. He spent 35 years at Deutsche Bank in the Global Markets division, as Global Head of Spot FX, Global Head of eCommerce, Global Head of eSales and Head of Institutional Sales Technology.

He was at the forefront of the evolution of the FX market from being a predominantly voice-based marketplace to what is now a mature electronic market. He was a key architect behind AutobahnFX, the multi-award winning trading platform that for many years set the standard for electronic FX trading.

Ian is currently the Head of Digital Solutions, Europe & Americas at Westpac Institutional Bank.

Steve’s career in currency-options trading spans over two decades. Starting as a trader on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, he rose through the ranks and held senior trading roles with Barclays, Citibank, HSBC and Morgan Stanley.

Most recently, he served as the Global Head of FX Options for Credit Agricole—responsible for all aspects of FX non-linear trading, business development, systems integration, and the roll-out of quantitative pricing/trading models.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Accounting, Magna cum Laude, from DePaul University in Chicago.
